Wishing You Were Elsewhere 

Does anybody else realize how many movies are really a secret cry to GET ME OUT OF HERE? Fantasy movies/books follow this thought especially. Narnia, they go to a fantastical land. Bridge to Taribithia, oh look this is very magical.  Harry Potter: check out magical wizard land versus muggle world. Lord of the Rings: Frodo goes on an adventure to avoid tax season. Ok, so the last one was made up. But it seems like humanity just wants some escapism sometimes. I guess that’s the whole existential point of literature. Life gets boring. Find the adventure somewhere else until you can successfully find the adventure in your own life.
