I Miss It- Jakarta

I sat down cross legged, my fingernails digging into my thighs. There was a knock on the door, a basic greeting of formalities, and room service was brought in and served with a smile. The sun was setting outside and you could just see the tips of it burning over the edges of an iron construction ramp. The buildings spiraled upwards towards infinity, oblivious as I sat in my relatively small state of existence and chewed on a piece of tofu. My eyes glazed over as I sat there in the warmth of a cotton tee and shorts. I wished this time would last forever. For me, it very nearly did.
